ABOUT

My name is Anne Jasker and I am a scientific illustrator.

I graduated in 2025 with a Master's degree in Scientific Illustration at Zuyd University in Maastricht.

Scientific illustration is a practice that goes beyond drawing a pretty picture. The illustrations that are created are used by scientists, doctors, students, researchers and the general public. With scientific illustration, different media (traditional and digital) are used to create the illustrations. These can include watercolor, pencil, pen and ink, but also Adobe Photoshop and other digital programs. I work closely with researchers and scientists to create an illustration which will play an important role in scientific publications, textbooks, educational materials, etc. to help the target audience to better comprehend and understand otherwise difficult to grasp concepts and topics.

Besides scientific illustrations, I also create personal work and 'non-scientific' art, like portraits or prints to hang on your wall.
